*Rain Protection: If applicable, PGE will provide the customer a payment (amount varies by package) in the event .5” or more of rain is recorded at your event location between 10am and 2pm on the day of your event. Package purchase (or upgrade) must be completed no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event. If the Event Date changes within (14) days prior to originally scheduled date, the Rain Protection will only apply to the first date. Available in Continental United States only.
Rainfall data is determined using Stage IV gridded precipitation data published by NCEP-the grid box that includes the specified address/location for your event shall be used for this determination. No other extraneous data or inputs will be considered. Final data is typically available from NCEP no more than fourteen (14) days after the event. Payment shall be made within five (5) business days of the availability of final data.
